Fall Baseball Instructional League
The Fall Instructional League is designed to provide an opportunity for skill development, fun, and competition. Each team will play one game each Sunday, as well as warm-up (10 minutes) and instructional drills (15-20 minutes). The games will be 5-7 innings and last 1.5-2 hours each Sunday.

WHEN: The Fall Instructional League will cover 5 dates that include: September 14, September 21, September 28, October 5, and October 12 from 1:00-3:30 PM OR 3:30-6:00 PM. Pending interest level we will add different sessions on each date and add times and locations.
WHERE: Check-In will take place at Winona State University’s Loughrey Field, WSU’s softball field, WSU’s Football field, and we will use indoor facilities in case of inclement weather (Cage Games). We will add other field locations if necessary.
WHO: 4th-12th graders can sign up for our instructional league. Pending registration numbers some age groups may be combined. Groupings include 4th- 6th Grade Group 7th-8th Grade group, and 9th-12th Grade group. (Players can be moved up or down pending skill level). Please email Seth Wing at seth.wing@winona.edu if you are interested in signing up as a team instead of an individual or if you have any requests to be on the same team as a friend.
LEADERSHIP: Instruction will be provided by Winona State University Baseball Staff. Instructional teachers include Seth Wing, Jake Carlsen, and current Winona State University Baseball Players. Games will be coached and umpired by WSU Baseball players with the supervision of the coaching staff.
COST: The cost for the instructional league is $160 and payable to Winona State University Baseball. Sibling discounts include 10% for two, 15% for three, and 20% for 4 registrations in one family.
EQUIPMENT: Each participant will need to bring the following items to each session: baseball glove, bat, cleats, baseball pants, hat, athletic shorts, tennis shoes, and any other miscellaneous items participants need to play a game. Catchers will need to provide their own gear.
REGISTRATION: Deadline of September 5th or when league is full. Confirmation with all details of the league will be emailed out no later than Wednesday, September 10th.
